Routes to membership
There are several tracks to full membership. The following will give you information on which membership track you should follow.
- First, classroom trainers may progress through Associate level, to Senior Associate and then to full Member by demonstrating the requisite competencies and experience.
- Similar paths are defined for designers and developers of learning materials, both paper-based for classroom delivery or self-study use, and electronic, for delivery via an e-Learning medium.
- The growing number of trainers becoming online tutors may also join at Associate level and progress to full membership once they can show clearly that they have demonstrated these competencies in practice in the workplace, to the benefit of their employer.
